  • Added an interactive catalogue dashboard covering instrument composition, operations, spectral resources, data access, and external catalogue links.
  • Renamed the website catalogue index to Search Instruments and redesigned the landing-page actions around the site brand color.
  • Grouped secondary website links under a More navigation menu.

0.3.0

Catalogue

  • Replaced materialized spectral response arrays in catalogue.json with raw GitHub CSV URLs while preserving the source filenames.
  • Changed catalogue.json to readable, four-space pretty-printed JSON.

Schema

  • Added platform-specific lifecycle validation: satellite and airborne instruments use operational or retired, while UAV and terrestrial instruments use active or legacy; all platforms retain experimental and planned.
  • Added the required contributors property for unique GitHub profile URLs.
  • Added optional Land Surface Temperature (lst), Water Surface Temperature (wst), Ground Range Detected (grd), and Radiometrically Terrain Corrected (rtc), and Single Look Complex (slc) product roles to every data-access point schema.
  • Added the optional positive ne_delta_t band property, in kelvin, for thermal-band noise specifications and made it mutually exclusive with snr.

Instruments And Metadata

  • Added Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B SLSTR instrument records with a shared 11-band definition, platform-specific measured spectral response functions, specialized surface-temperature data access, and external catalogue links.
  • Added separate Parrot Sequoia multispectral and RGB UAV instrument records, including the four-band multispectral definition.
  • Added Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B OLCI instrument records with shared nominal band definitions and platform-specific mean spectral response functions.
  • Migrated existing UAV instrument lifecycle statuses from operational and retired to active and legacy.
  • Added the initial contributor attribution to every instrument record.
  • Added published NE(Δ)T specifications for Altum, Altum-PT, ASTER, Landsat TM, ETM+, TIRS/TIRS-2, and MODIS thermal bands.

Documentation

  • Added advanced instrument-index filters for core metadata, start dates, spectral resources, and data access providers.
  • Added NE(Δ)T values to the instrument-page spectral band tables.
  • Linked instrument IDs in the generated repository README to their VitePress instrument pages instead of their first source reference.
  • Changed VitePress SRF plotting data generation to read the validated local SRF CSV files directly.

0.2.0

Catalogue

  • Consolidated provider-specific data access metadata under the data_access extension.
  • Added generated family and platform_companions relationship fields to each instrument in catalogue.json.
  • Preserved the original SRF CSV filename in spectral.spectral_response_function_file while still materializing SRF CSV content into the catalogue.
  • Added generated spectral bands for range-based instruments using either total_bands or sampling.
  • Added support for assigning an optional range-level bandwidth to every generated spectral band.
  • Added Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem data access support.
  • Added EOPF Sentinel Zarr Samples data access support.

Schema

  • Added the cross_links extension for external catalogue URLs.
  • Added the consolidated data-access.yaml extension.
  • Moved provider-specific access schemas into schema/extensions/data_access_points/.
  • Added the optional spectral.range.bandwidth property for declaring a common bandwidth across generated bands.
  • Updated schema identifiers and references to raw GitHub URLs.
  • Improved schema property descriptions.
