HRVIRHigh Resolution Visible and Infrared

SPOT-4

Instrument IDHRVIR_SPOT4
satellite platform

Summary

HRVIR_SPOT4 (High Resolution Visible and Infrared) is a retired multispectral instrument operated by CNES on SPOT-4. It is associated with a satellite platform and has public data availability.

NOTE

SPOT-4 carried two independently programmable HRVIR instruments. Each unit covered 60 km, while both units together covered 117 km. The 10 m monospectral mode used the red spectral interval and was alternative to the 20 m four-band multispectral mode. SPOT-4 acquired its final Take5 images on 2013-06-19 and was switched off during de-orbiting on 2013-06-29.
