Summary

HRG_SPOT5 (High Resolution Geometric) is a retired multispectral instrument operated by CNES on SPOT-5. It is associated with a satellite platform and has public data availability.

NOTE

SPOT-5 carried two HRG instruments, each with a nominal 60 km swath; using both instruments together provided up to 117 km. The panchromatic detector sampled at 5 m. The 2.5 m THR super-mode was a processed product generated from two simultaneous 5 m images acquired with a half-pixel offset, not a native 2.5 m detector sampling distance.
